A New Beginning

I had to admit, after a few rows that my original choice of yarn and pattern just wasn't looking very attractive. The very tweedy yarn was really fighting with the cables. So I ordered a different yarn and started knitting like a mad thing to make up for lost time. My new project is, "Diagonal Progression" from the IK Winter 00/01 issue. I think this combination is looking much better. I checked out several of the other projects here at our group, and I've been tempted by the "Irish Hiking Scarf" that a few of you are knitting, looks like a fun knit.
