a contest... A CONTEST!!! Woohoo!!!

Hello everyone! Your other moderator here, with some exciting news. Christie and I will be hosting two contests! Are you ready for the details? OK!

Contest #1:

The mission: Find free cable patterns on the web. Send everything you find to craftylilly AT hotmail DOT com. Put "Free Cable Pattern" in the heading and put links to the patterns in the body of the email. Each free pattern will get your name in the random drawing. The deadline is November 1st. Christie and I will hold a random drawing on November 2nd. The winner will receive the book Aran Sweater Design by Janet Szabo as a prize. All free patterns will be added to our sidebar.

Contest #2:

The mission: Complete a cabled FO and post it here on the group blog sometime between October 1st and February 28th. All participants who post a FO will have his/her name put into a random drawing. Your name will go in for every FO post you make. The prize is still to be determined, but you can be assured it will be a fibery prize!

***Just one more thing on Contest #1: We would prefer a pattern that hasn't been linked on either this KAL or last year's Fall Cable KAL. Thanks and happy hunting!
