Seeking Yarn Advise...

Where better? :-)

It seems I remember reading/hearing somewhere about potential problems knitting cables with 100% silk yarn. Is there any problem with stitch definition? Or is this just another result of my sleep-deprived mind remembering something that is not there? TIA
