It may not be original

It may not be original but I love my Irish Hiking Scarf. I'm a small projects only kind of knitter and this scarf fits the bill. I've knit it during baseball games, soccer practice, Scout meeting, homeschool meetings, waiting in the car and television shows. I love it because the pattern is simple and repetitive.

The Irish Hiking Scarf has slowed down a bit due to Socktoberfest but I'm just amazed at how quickly it knits up. It's around 40 inches now and I could finish it in no time if I wasn't committed to the socks I'm working on. This scarf is bound for my girlfriend, Kristen, for her birthday on December 31 so I'm not in a big hurry.
