Cabled Socks

Hey Everyone...

I found out about this KAL and after seeing all the great projects I had to join in. I haven't done too many cabled projects yet, but I've had fun with what I've done so far.

I started the Boyfriend Socks a couple nights ago (for myself, since my boy doesn't want handknit socks...how wrong is that?) As you can see I've changed the pattern a bit so they're top down and I didn't work the 1x1 ribbing at the top.

I just got IK's Holiday Gifts magazine tonight. I'll probably be making the Bells and Whistles socks next. Mona Schmidt incorporates cabling and openwork to make some really pretty socks.
