Twist and shout

Hi, I'm Karen. I read about this KAL on Lolly's blog and signed up on a whim. I'm knitting Mariah. This is my fourth attempt at sleeve No. 1. I have the chart practically memorized, but when you make mistakes with cables, it shows and even I can't ignore it (trust me, I'm not a perfectionist and can let a mistake go if it's not that noticable). Anyway, here's where I am on the sleeve:



I'm using Paton's Classic Merino, which is a warm and snuggly wool. I've knit cables before, but never a hood and I've never sewn a zipper onto a knitted cardigan either. I suspect there will be some challenges ahead for me and any help would be appreciated.
