Cabled purse

Hi! This is my first post and I though I'd introduce myself and show you the cable project I am currently working on. I'm Jody - from javajem knits. I have been knitting almost a year - but have't done many cable projects. I can't wait to see what you all have planned.

I started this cabled purse to look sort of like the bags here...




Very easy to knit up and much cheaper than the bags on that site!! I used two balls of Debbie Bliss Cashmerino Chunky and size 10.5 needles.




I think I may add a ribbon around the top and add a lining along with bamboo handles.
